LIEFO aims to be a reference point for family investors in Luxembourg. It intends to take part in the activities of foreign—particularly European—associations pursuing the same mission.
The Initiative aims to facilitate the connection, development, and promotion of family service structures, known as Family Offices (SFOs & MFOs) or Holdings.
More specifically, in this context, LIEFO aims to provide Family Offices with up-to-date information, contribute to their training, offer assistance and guidance to its Members, facilitate the sharing of experience, and represent Family Offices in discussions and negociations with public and private institutional decision-makers.
LIEFO’s mission will notably include studying how Family Offices operate, identifying ways to enhance their effectiveness, collecting and disseminating relevant information, and providing training and guidance to the governing bodies of Family Offices and their members.
LIEFO will be able to create working groups and sub-groups of Members organised by area of expertise.
